The goal I set for myself was to create web site ecommerce passive income. I read everything I could find on the subject of how to create web site ecommerce and I was intrigued. I am a computer literate guy, so I knew I could do it, I just didn't realize how hard and long it would be. I bought my first computer, an Apple Mac, in 1984 and have owned practically every new model Apple has introduced since then. I started with Macs when MS DOS was the operating system for PC computers in the "pre-Windows" stone age. I loved the easy Mac interface that let me concentrate on doing my work, not learning difficult computer languages like html and php.

I chose a topic that looked promising, picked an available domain name, and chose a web host that seemed to offer what I needed. Then I ran into the brick wall of learning to build websites. My web host had a "simplified" program for learning to build websites, but I couldn't figure out to use it, and I had no mentor. Learning to build web sites this way was not intuitive, not Mac friendly and not Mac easy! I was doing "web the hard way".

My web host's help desk tried to be helpful, but I didn't know enough about website building to even ask the right questions. It looked like I would need more expensive new software to create web site ecommerce income. Then I would need an FTP, then an auto-responder, then a form builder, then RSS, then an ezine, etc. My costs were skyrocketing and I hadn't even put up a home page yet!
