5 Longevity Tips for Living Past 90

These five simple longevity tips can greatly improve your odds of living for over 90 years. Better yet, you can live well in spite of disease, and good luck and good genes are not required.

These findings are the results of a 26 year long study (1981 - 2006) of a group of older men who's average age was 72 when the study began. The report entitled Exceptional Longevity in Men examined what modifiable lifestyle factors are associated with a life span of 90 or more years and late-life function in men. (Archives of Internal Medicine, Vol. 168, 2/11/08)
When the study began 2,357 men enrolled and self-reported on their health and lifestyles annually. Out of this group 970 men (41%) survived to at least 90 years of age. A careful analysis of the data yielded a Longevity Guide for Living Past 90.
